First allow me to explain. This is Nevada, 2012. Prescriptions are not as easy to get as in my native California, I don't keep up with all the news, as I don't have a TV, but I don't think we are allowed to smoke by sani-cans here in Nevada (not that I heard of yet?). So this is a Reggae Festival, surrounded by the Clark County Court House (its the courtyard for the court house, Reggae Fest, ok?). SO YOU ENTER and you see......
Which is above the stage, you your looking over the sani cans down to the stage below and the people below. And the court house is right there, people could use restrooms indoors, but no, sani-cans in high heat, above the stage, what taste, what etiquette
Reggae is from the Rastafari movement, which is a vegetarian vegan thing. Not all Reggae people are vegetarian vegans, but you can expect some serious vegans to show up for a reggae fest. So where to the put the Vegetarian Vegan booth? Right between two flaming/smoking Bar-B-Qs, so that if the wind changed direction, it would still smoke out the vegan stand.
I can find little that is good about human beings. In my experience most of them are trash -Sigmund Freud
OK lets get to the good bands, I was late and missed most of "Fortunate Youth", but they were good, then I heard "Pato Banton" absolutely excellent professional party band with great choreography, lots of fun (shown below), then further below (in red shirts) is "Fiji" (Island Band), then I had to leave and go to work, and it was getting crowded. They had some nice concession stands, I got something I needed and was reasonable. Most of the people where hanging out in the shade of the trees, but when I left there was no more room anyplace. I missed a whole bunch of other bands (had to work) but I had a good time with the 3 I heard, well worth the ticket, in spite of the issues listed above.
DO THEY REALLY NEED A TSA STYLE FENCE TO PROTECT THE AUDIENCE? What is this a Zoo?
A small post and rope fence will do, 2 feet tall so you can sit and look over it
