HOLLEY FAMILY ALBUM: Family of Chris Holley aka ARCHURE
My mom Lyda married Bill Holley a Psychologist (Jasper Wilson Holley), and they lived in San Diego CA where I was born. They got divorced when I was too young to remember, and I only met my father a couple of times (he lived in Europe). But I visited his father J.E. Holley (my grandfather) and my Cousins. We all lived in Hollywood when I was a kid.
J.E. Holley and his wife (my step grandmother) Carolyn Holley, both Doctors of Divinity, and Authors of "The Healing Presence". This photo includes me. My grandfather used to teach me that God does not want to put you down (like many Bible wavers tend to do, they are not God), God wants to help, sees the good in you, and wants you to be good; God wants to heal you (and your body will heal itself if you allow it, is what good doctors have told me). I was raised by my moms side of the family (Eastern Orthodox Christian, most of what the priest said was not in English), and only occaisionally visited my Grandfather Holley. His son (my father, who did not raise me, met him a couple of times, was a Buddhist ("Nam myho renge kyo" with beads and a little building shrine box) as well as a Psychologist (Phd in Statistical Psychology), but I was not raised by him either. My family sent me to Quaker boarding school for 2 years, and I picked up being a vegetarian (early contact with vegetarians in Hollywood), but my family was neither Quaker nor vegetarian. These days I rarely go to any religious services (Baptized Eastern Orthodox, Quaker education, lean towards Buddhism due to their acceptance of vegetarianism (there are various sects/branches of Buddhism, some are vegetarians. I believe that if you put Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Confucious, and Mohommed and put them in the same room, the would all get along pretty much, and agree on most things (they probably all ate the same types of magic mushrooms, etc; as modern education teaches that the roots of the worlds religious started with magic mushrooms etc). Keep in mind, Jesus was born and raised a Jew, he didn't start Christianity, his followers did. I learned in college (Psychology) that the worlds Relgions tend to be oppresive of Human Sexuality. I believe that what goes around comes around. I don't like to be bullied around by less moral than myself priests who don't like me because I am a vegetarian or an astrologer (Ben Franklin was an astrologer, and hung out wtih Quakers, however, many modern day Quakers are apposed to Astrology and Vegetarianism. You would think religous people would COEXIST.

My cousin Heidi Meadows Adagio, who was a child actress, and a singer (used to sing in Las Vegas), and now a Librarian for the Hollywood Library. This photo is Heidi with a Black Cat in Mendocino CA (where they filmed many movies and TV shows, including Murder She Wrote), at my moms house on Ukiah Street.
