My Godmother Sandra Scoville and me, on the Catalina Island ship. Before she married Ogden Scoville, she used to live next door to me and my mom, at the Jen Lovin Swim School Apartments on Hollywood (east end of town), and famous Trumpet Player and Band Leader for the Merv Griffin Show used to play his horn on top of our roof (before he was famous).

Sandra and Ogden Scoville. They took care of me for a year or so, around age 9 and 10 when my mom lived in Mexico. This photo was taken before that time, when my mom and I lived in the Hollywood Hills next to my grandparents (in their Duplex). The Hat, a Fez, was brought back by Ogden and Sandra from Turkey, on their World Tour. The also brought back all sorts of nice Chinese Furniture. Their favorite part of the trip was Spain, they said in Spain, the Spanish people Party All Night Long. Ogden was real, genuine Cowboy from Arizona, and had a great collection of Cowboy Music (Gene Autry etc). He and Sandra were both members of Menza. Ogden had one of the Best Postage Stamp collections in the USA, and THE Best Revenu Stamp collection. Ogden ran for Governer of Missouri a number of years back but passed away just before the election.

My mom and I at the beach. One of our longtime family pastimes, was going to the beach (another is Gardening, everyone on my moms side of the family was into gardening, big time).

Me and my true sweetheart, the girl next door, Deloris Gomez. The Gomez Family used to take me everywhere, to their cousins on the weekends (watching Mexican TV), to the Mexican store in downtown L.A., Fiesta's (a Fiesta is a carnival with food and dancing all night till someone draws a knife and everyone goes running and screaming), and to Disneyland; and my mom used to take Deloris and I around. The Gomez Family was convinced that I would pick up the Spanish Language, but I never did.
